ZEN-NOH confirmed as title sponsor of World Women’s Curling Championship 2015

The World Curling Federation (WCF) is pleased to announce that ZEN-NOH has been confirmed a title sponsor of the World Women’s Curling Championship 2015.

Taking place in Sapporo, Japan, between 14 and 22 March, the event will now be called the ZEN-NOH World Women’s Curling Championship 2015 thanks to the sponsorship agreement which was facilitated by the WCF’s marketing agent - Infront Sports & Media.

ZEN-NOH is the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations and has been a committed partner of curling in Japan in recent years, supporting the Japan Curling Association and, most recently, partnering with the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2014 in Karuizawa.

ZEN-NOH is responsible for the marketing, tracking and quality assurance of agricultural products of its cooperatives in Japan.

“We are delighted to welcome ZEN-NOH onboard as title sponsor of the World Women’s Curling Championship 2015,” said WCF President, Kate Caithness. “Given the commitment that ZEN-NOH has made to curling in Japan, it is a natural fit for them to wish to partner with the World Curling Federation for a World Curling Championship being held in Japan. ZEN-NOH will gain global recognition as our partner as the World Women’s Championship has a growing worldwide audience.”

Caithness continued: “This sponsorship deal is yet another important partnership facilitated by Infront Sports and Media who continue to drive the communication and marketing value of WCF events.”

Speaking of the sponsorship, ZEN-NOH’s Public Relations Division commented: “ZEN-NOH looks forward to welcoming visitors from around the world. We will provide an opportunity for people to experience delicious 'Japanese Cuisine' such as Japanese rice, vegetables, fruits and meat. We are confident that all the athletes will give it their all and we look forward to supporting what will undoubtedly be a memorable competition.”

Following the conclusion of the Le Gruyère European Curling Championships 2014 in Champéry in November, the field is now set for the World Women’s Curling Championship 2015.

Teams from Canada, USA, Switzerland, Russia, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Norway, China and Japan (host) will compete in Sapporo. More information about the ZEN-NOH World Women’s Curling Championship 2015 can be found here: http://wwcc2015.worldcurling.net.
